Not to far from the Lombard Street, there is the famous Fisherman Wharf. It is such a large pier that we have to walk a long time to cover it. The seafood here is good, crabs, lobsters, fish of all kinds, sleeve-fish and other seafood. I don' like seafood but my colleges do, they enjoyed the food there very much.
The most interesting thing to me is seeing the sea lions, there were so many there on the boards floating on the sea. Some of them are swimming happily and enjoy the sunshine, and the voices they evoked made a beautiful symphony. We found some booklets introducing the knowledge of sea lions, there some quizzes in it, and we got the knowledge of distinguishing the sea lions, sea ox or walruses and seals.
Another thing interested me is the shark tooth necklace, some are cheaper and some are as expensive as $20 each., the sales girl said it is Mako shark(灰鯖鲨) tooth, by googleing the shark tooth, I found something much more expensive, that is the Megalodon shark (深海巨鲨)tooth, a nice one worth about $1000.
After lunch I wanted to buy one, but the sales girl said the store had closed and it would be open at 2pm. we had to leave there because we would not have enough time to visit the Golden Gate Bridge in the afternoon.
Just at that time, I saw a red bridge so familiar to me, I must have seen it before. Oh! That's it---- the Golden Gate Bridge, but it looked so near to us that we couldn't believe our eyes. There is a Chinese proverb, you can drive a horse dead just by looking the mountains, that's true. We experienced the Long Match that after noon.
