广西新闻网南宁11月20日讯（记者金秀梅实习生沙青韦英章）记者今天从第22个世界艾滋病日广西宣传活动周启动新闻发布会了解到，主题为“遏制艾滋，履行承诺——权益、责任、落实”的第22个世界艾滋病日广西宣传活动周今天在南宁正式启动。

艾滋病的医学全名为“获得性免疫缺陷综合症”，它是由人类免疫缺陷病毒引起的。该病毒终生传染，破坏人的免疫系统，使人体丧失抵抗各种疾病的能力。时至今日，国际医学对付艾滋病尚无治愈的药物和疗法，因此也有人称艾滋病为“超级癌症”、“世纪杀手”。

为了提高公众对艾滋病危害的认识，更有效地唤醒人们采取措施预防艾滋病的传播和蔓延，扩大艾滋病预防、治疗、关怀和支持的覆盖面，倡导政府组织领导，部门各负其责，全社区共同参与，积极行动起来，消除歧视，关心艾滋病病毒感染者和病人及其家庭，促进全社会参与落实“四免一关怀”政策，2009年12月1日前后，自治区卫生厅防治艾滋病工作委员会和南宁市防治艾滋病工作委员会将共同举办一系列防艾宣传活动，宣传预防艾滋病的知识和措施。届时，国家防艾宣传员濮存昕将和广西本地预防艾滋病宣传员一起走进南宁市望州南社区开展防艾宣传。

截止2009年上半年，我区累计报告艾滋病感染者/病人49948例，居全国第二位，艾滋病疫情十分严重，全区14个市109个县（区）均已报告发现HIV感染者，感染基数大，防治难度大。

据了解，广西艾滋病疫情十分严峻，截至2009年10月31日，全区累计报告艾滋病感染者和艾滋病病人51877例，其中艾滋病病人13516例；死亡6722例。2009年1-10月新报告艾滋病感染者6315例，艾滋病病人3322例，死亡1463例。近年来随着时间的推移，我区50岁以上的感染者逐年增多。全区人口中报告的艾滋病感染者和病人人数的比例约千分之一，高于全国平均水平。目前，我区每天约有30个人被传染上艾滋病。

我区艾滋病性传播呈现持续增加的态势，据数据统计显示，我区流动务工人员中检出感染艾滋病的人数增加，艾滋病在农村地区传播的情况明显加重。

    今年的防艾宣传工作形成以农村地区、流动人口和学校为重点的宣传教育活动，不断扩大范围和覆盖更多对象，以不同类型的活动走进乡村、工地、课堂。
