广西利用中医开展防治AIDS工作取得一定成效

中国日报网消息：广西2005年始开展中医药防治艾滋病工作，目前有500多名艾滋病感染者和患者正在接受中医药治疗。前期研究结果表明，经中医治疗后70％患者症状明显改善，免疫力提升，生存质量提高。

日前，在由广西中医药管理局、广西中医学院附属瑞康医院——广西中医（中西医结合）艾滋病研究中心，联合举办的“防治AIDS，中医在行动”大活动上，广西中医药管理局吕琳副局长做出了如上发言。

吕还提出了广西开展中医药防治艾滋病工作重点：一是进一步扩大中医药对艾滋病的临床救治范围，让更多的艾滋病感染者和患者能够接受中医药的治疗；二是加强艾滋病的宣教工作，让更多的人了解艾滋病防治知识，让更多人了解中医药治疗艾滋病的特点与优势；三是加强中医药治疗艾滋病科研工作，进一步提高中医药防治艾滋病的科技水平；四是加强中医药防治艾滋病服务能力建设。

Lu also proposed to carry out the Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine to Fight AIDS priorities: First, to further expand the clinical medicine for AIDS treatment range, so that more HIV-infected people and patients to accept medical treatment; the second is to strengthen the AIDS missionary work, so that more people understand AIDS knowledge, so that more people understand the characteristics of Chinese medicine to treat AIDS and advantages; third is to strengthen the research of Chinese medicine to treat AIDS, and further raise the technological level of Chinese Medicine to Fight AIDS; and fourth is to strengthen the prevention and treatment of Chinese medicine AIDS services, capacity-building.
