中国艾滋病患者就诊时受歧视--报告

路透北京5月17日电---联合国国际劳工组织(ILO)公布的一份研究报告称，中国艾滋病(AIDS)患者及艾滋病毒(HIV)携带者在主流医院就诊时常常会受到歧视，原因是对该病的恐惧和无知。
新华社援引联合国估计数字报导称，中国2009年有74万艾滋病毒携带者，以及10.5万艾滋病人。
1990年代河南贫穷农村非法采血活动导致艾滋病毒在中国蔓延，但目前该病毒在中国主要是通过性途径传播。
在发布这一报告的记者会中，一名艾滋病毒携带者回忆称，由于携带艾滋病毒，他在天津和北京多处医院治疗背部疾病时多次遭到拒绝。
“医生说我们医院很多病人需要手术，如果其他病人被感染，影响会很恶劣，”这位拒绝透露姓名的男子说。
“在第二家医院……医生告诉我：‘我同情你的遭遇’，但因为你这种情况，我没法给你做手术。”这名男子还说，由于他所在的钢铁厂老板发现他携带艾滋病毒，他丢掉了工作。
“我还去过其他很多医院，都被以类似方式，或者说设备不足等理由拒绝。”
北京佑安医院传染病副主任医师张可称，中国目前推行的艾滋病人和艾滋病毒携带者在指定医院就诊的政策是造成这一歧视的根源之一。
