美专家称中美两国在艾滋病防治领域密切合作

新华网纽约６月９日电（记者荣娇娇 报道员李大玖）美国艾滋病防治专家９日在此间举行新闻发布会，介绍美国总统艾滋病紧急援助计划与世界各国开展合作的情况，与会专家表示中美两国在艾滋病防治领域有多方面的密切合作。
美国卫生部过敏与传染病研究所所长安东尼·福西告诉新华社记者：“我们与中国在艾滋病方面的合作已经有１５年历史，我们与中国疾病预防控制中心在人员交流、科学研究、疾病控制与预防等方面都有密切合作。”
美国国家艾滋病政策办公室主任杰弗里·克劳利说，在艾滋病防治方面，美国向中国提供技术援助，协助中国政府提高对艾滋病病毒监测管理能力以及建立可持续的疫情反应机制。
据美国总统艾滋病紧急援助计划官方资料显示，从２００７年至２００９年财政年度，美国向中国提供约３０００万美元资金，用于艾滋病预防、治疗与护理。
２０１０年，该组织在中国共帮助５５００名艾滋病患者获得抗逆转录病毒治疗，为１．２９万名艾滋病病毒携带者提供帮助，为６．４７万名携带艾滋病病毒的孕妇提供治疗，并向１４．３４万人提供咨询和检测。
