万名艾滋病患者享免费中医药治疗

本报讯（记者代丽丽）中医药治疗艾滋病可以取得显著效果，很多因感染艾滋病而长期卧床的患者，通过一段时间的中药辨证施治治疗，就可以恢复体力下床活动。记者从国家中医药管理局获悉，我国中医药治疗艾滋病方案已经初步形成，中医药治疗艾滋病试点项目已惠及9267名患者。
据了解，卫生部、国家中医药管理局和财政部从2004年开始，联合实施了中医药治疗艾滋病试点项目。中央财政先后投入约1.6亿元，主要用于中药费、临床检测等。临床数据分析提示：中医药治疗对发热、咳嗽、乏力、纳呆、腹泻等主要症状改善明显，患者症状、体征积分变化较大。其中以改善乏力、增加体重最为突出。
