艾滋病药物新突破 杀菌胶可避免妇女感染HIV

南非医学研究会（MRC）9日发表研究报告称，由该会艾滋病病毒（HIV）预防研究部针对3000多名妇女进行的为期3年半的临床研究表明，一种名为PRO2000的女性用杀菌胶可以有效地让妇女避免感染HIV，这是世界首次有人体临床试验证明，杀菌胶可以防止HIV从男性传染给女性。
杀菌胶是一种妇女专用的胶状、泡沫状或者乳霜状的药剂，妇女在发生性行为前使用该杀菌胶，可以防止感染HIV。目前，在世界范围内的HIV感染者中，女性占据一半；而在撒哈拉以南非洲的成人HIV感染者中，女性占据60%%。
从2005年2月至2008年9月，来自南非、津巴布韦、马拉维、赞比亚和美国5个国家的3099名妇女参与了此次临床试验。试验分为4组，有2组分别使用杀菌胶BufferGel和杀菌胶PRO2000（0.5%%剂量），另外2组分别使用安慰胶以及不使用杀菌胶作为对比。结果表明，BufferGel基本上起不到预防HIV感染的作用，而PRO2000可以使HIV感染率下降30%%。
南非MRC艾滋病病毒预防研究部主任基塔?拉姆吉教授说：“科学家一直在寻找一种能够保护妇女、从根本上减少新的HIV感染的安全有效的杀菌胶，经过十多年的研究，我们终于看到曙光。针对PRO2000进行的试验表明，利用杀菌胶来预防HIV的传播是行得通的。”（记者李学华）
