美国政府提出“全球健康倡议”

　　国际在线报道(记者 王姗姗)：美国政府5日提出一份“全球健康倡议”，打算在未来6年内斥资630亿美元，用于应对全球性疾病和热带疾病以及加强儿童健康等。在当前甲型H1N1流感疫情仍在继续的情况下，这份倡议显然具有现实意义。

　　美国总统奥巴马在5日发表声明说，人类社会进入21世纪后，疾病蔓延已经跨越了国境和海洋。最近，甲型H1N1流感病毒暴发又提醒人们应对全球性疾病的紧迫性。尽管政府无法解决所有健康问题，但有责任保护人民健康、挽救生命、减少病痛。因此，他要求国会在2010财政年度拨款86亿美元、并在未来6年内共拨款630亿美元，制定一项全面的全球健康新战略。声明还说，这笔资金将用于防止艾滋病蔓延、减少产妇和5岁以下儿童死亡和治愈一些被忽视的热带疾病等。
