广西性病使感染艾滋病危险增1.5至18.2倍

6月11日，记者从自治区卫生厅了解到，国家科技重大专项课题《防治性病对预防艾滋病作用的研究》日前在梧州市启动，这项研究将为国家制订和完善艾滋病控制策略提供重要依据。
近年来的监测数据显示，艾滋病经性途径传播的比例呈逐年上升趋势。国家疾病预防控制中心性病中心为此设立专门课题，选择在广西、广东、江苏、海南4个省(区)开展相关研究。2008年广西报告的4万多例艾滋病病毒感染者和病人中，异性性传播的比例占56.5％，注射毒品传播占21.4%，说明艾滋病传播途径已转为性传播为主。
据了解，性病会使感染艾滋病病毒的危险性增加1.5～18.2倍。性病引起的炎症反应和病损部位的渗出液，会增强艾滋病病毒经生殖器分泌物的排放量，这使得感染了性病的患者面临更高的艾滋病感染风险。
据介绍，梧州市和贺州市被选定为这一国家科技重大专项课题在广西实施的重要基地，实施时间至明年底。按照计划，这两个市将设立以城区为单位的干预点和对照点，在包括男男性接触者、性病门诊患者等在内的艾滋病病毒性传播高危人群中，开展对照、前瞻性研究，以便通过及时发现和有效治疗性病，降低艾滋病病毒传播和感染的几率，为国家制订和完善艾滋病控制策略提供重要依据。（记者张若凡）
