靖江积极防治艾滋病我市成为示范区

　　记者从市疾控中心艾滋病防治科了解到，我市日前被确立为国家和省共建的“艾滋病综合防治示范区”。我市将通过宣传和监测等举措，在未来5年内，控制和减少新发病例。

　　2004年，我市在外来人口中发现首例艾滋病病毒感染者，随后又陆续发现几名艾滋病病毒感染者和艾滋病病人。其中，主要是20岁到40岁之间的青壮年，男性多于女性。据市疾控中心艾滋病防制科分析，在近年新增的数例感染者中，大多数通过性途径传播。

　　按照示范区的建设要求，我市将在2010年前建成3个“筛查实验室”和3个以上的自愿咨询检测门诊，同时开展艾滋病、丙肝和梅毒检测咨询，为群众检测提供便利，做到及时预防传播。对于低于生活保障标准的艾滋病感染者和病人、致孤儿童及孤老我市将100%进行生活救助，艾滋病致孤学龄儿童可接受免费义务教育。
