近日，美国ABC电视台热播剧《黑金家族》人气主演布莱尔-安德伍德(Blair Underwood)呼吁社会关注艾滋病人群，特别关注南非黑人艾滋病社区以及同性恋人群。
今年世界艾滋病日期间，男星布莱尔-安德伍德出席了艾滋病健康基金(AIDS Health Care Foundation)在南非举办的公益活动现场，并呼吁当地民众提高对艾滋病传播的认识。除此之外，布莱尔-安德伍德还与“新南非艺术家公益机构(Artists for a New South Africa)”的工作人员一同走访探望了南非身患艾滋病毒的儿童与家庭。
“在南非爱心走访中，我发现很多人并没有意识到艾滋病的危险，特别是在黑人社区与同性恋人群中，很多人甚至认为自己对这种病具有天生的免疫能力，这种想法即无知又愚昧，同时也会给艾滋病毒进一步传播扩大感染人群提供了条件。”布莱尔-安德伍德表示。呼吁民众关注艾滋人群的同时，布莱尔-安德伍德还希望更多公益机构能够深入相关人群，进行教育，以扩大民众对艾滋病及其传播等基本知识的认识。
