中新广东网3月23日电 (黄耀辉 熊小斐 赵惠银) 23日，广东端州“瘾君子”朱某在当地戒毒所通过警方奉劝昔日的道友远离毒品，他自己却因吸毒染上艾滋病了。
据警方介绍，朱某原本经营小本生意，手里有了一点积蓄。他和朋友一次在外地唱K玩时，经朋友的怂恿，第一次接触了毒品。
朱某告诉警方，此后一发不可收，很快就将多年的积蓄用在吸毒上，欠下一屁股的债务。
警方称，由于吸毒成瘾，朱某使用针筒静脉注射毒品海洛因，在注射毒品过程中，朱某为省钱，曾多次重复使用不洁针筒，最终染上了艾滋病。
14日，警方将正在吸毒的朱某抓获后，经过验血，证实朱某已经染上艾滋病。资料显示，艾滋病主要通过不结性交、血液静脉注射毒品和母婴三种主要途径传播。
目前，朱某已被警方强制戒毒。
