一大医院愿为艾滋病女患者动手术 本报呼吁社会援手筹措手术费
本报讯 （记者梅国胜）昨日本报报道《艾滋病女患者急需动手术遭拒》，引起不少医疗机构关注，昨日中午，武昌一家大医院与记者联系，表示愿意为艾滋病女患者李春做子宫腺肌瘤手术。下午，记者与这家大医院联系好后，已通知李春去该院检查身体，安排手术事宜。
据有关部门介绍，艾滋病接受治疗是免费的，但对病人其他疾病目前尚无减免政策。 如动手术，有些手术器械须做一次性处理，因此费用相对一般手术费用高些。医院初步预算，李春的情况手术费用约需2万多元，凑齐这笔费用对靠低保维生的李春又成一道难题。
记者了解到，2005年40岁的李春与丈夫查出艾滋病后，失去工作和生活来源，当地政府给他们办了低保，原单位还有一些补贴，加起来每月仅1000多元。可夫妻俩敏感的心承受不了当地人的风言风语，几千元卖掉村里的房子，躲到武汉城区租房住，每月房租500元，剩下500来元，两口子日子过得很艰难。
