IZMA showed vests, leggings, and hats made of fur and mixed it with other fabrics such as sheer and leather to create several show stopping dresses and coats. Joe Fresh showed several fur looks, but used faux fur to keep price points down. But as young fashion lovers reinterpret the trend of fur, the focus has shifted away from luxurious fur coats and towards fur detail work and accessories. “People are not looking for the big iconic fur coat our mothers wore,” says Izzy Camilleri. “They’re looking more for accessories.”

Camilleri explains consumers are now more interested in discount moncler outlet, which is what IZMA created this season. By using fur as in its detail work and creating smaller garments and accessories, Camilleri says IZMA was able to keep its price point down and create products that can be worn in many ways for various occasions. “My mom pulls out her mink coat when she’s got somewhere special to go,” she says. “These pieces are more everyday.” Camilleri has worked with the North American Fur Association for several years, collaborating on collections and taking a course at NAFA’s Liberty Village design studio. NAFA has also introduced Camilleri to fur trappers and taught her about the industry.
