北京协和医院多项成果点亮“抗艾”希望

生意社5月24日讯 记者日前从北京协和医院获悉，该院艾滋病研究课题组又取得一项艾滋病研究成果。
课题组组长、北京协和医院感染科教授李太生介绍说，这是一项关于治疗艾滋病患者合并丙肝的疗效与副作用的发生特点的研究结果，已发表在今年4月最新一期的国际著名刊物《艾滋病杂志》上。相关研究仍在继续深入。
北京协和医院艾滋病研究课题组历时25年，围绕艾滋病免疫重建、免疫发病机制及适合中国国情的抗病毒治疗等问题进行研究，取得了一系列创新性、突破性进展。
——提出艾滋病患者免疫重建理论。很长时间医学界都认为鸡尾酒疗法只能控制艾滋病病情，而不能修复患者已遭破坏的免疫系统。但李太生通过与病人的长期接触和观察随访，最终发现在抗艾滋病病毒药物有效控制病毒复制6个月后，艾滋病患者机体产生了新的有功能的免疫细胞。1997年7月，这一研究成果在世界著名的《科学》杂志上发表。免疫功能重建理论的证实，宣告了艾滋病不再是不治之症。
——让艾滋病诊治走本土化道路。李太生介绍说，在2002年前，我国还未生产出仿制的抗艾滋病病毒药，使用进口药物每月至少需要1万元；虽然此后受到国内仿制药的冲击，但每月仍需3000元。
如何让中国艾滋病治疗走本土化道路？2005年，由北京协和医院牵头的首个随机化、前瞻性、多中心联合攻关的规范化临床研究，历时2年优选出了2种国产仿制抗HIV药物配伍方案，并证实费用仅为进口药物1/6的国产仿制药疗效与进口同类药物相当。
