Call For Papers : International Conference on China Urban Development, 7-8 December 2010, Hong Kong

The Centre of Urban Studies and Urban Planning of the University of Hong Kong and the Centre for China Urban and Regional Studies of Hong Kong Baptist University are jointly organizing the International Conference on China Urban Development on 7-8 December 2010 at the University of Hong Kong.

The main objective of the Conference is to provide a platform for scholars to discuss issues on China's urbanization and urban development. The Conference will focus on various critical issues relating to China's rapid urbanization and urban development, industrial development and economic transformation, urban spatial restructuring, migration and labor market, land and housing development, urban governance and urban planning, transportation and infrastructure, poverty and inequity, and environment and sustainable development.
