这是本人最近完成的一篇管理方面的论文，即将在一个国内的管理评论杂志发表（英文版的会在稍后一些时候在美国的一个管理期刊上发表，但两个版本的文章会有不同的侧重点，国内的以基本概念为主，英文的以实施尤其是在云计算平台上的实现以取代传统的ERP系统为主）。这里是一个摘要，供感兴趣的参考。
这篇文章的背景还是基于本人长达10年的流程改善咨询的实践，在众多企业的精益六西格玛管理活动中总结出来的。目的是为基于流程的运营管理提供一个新的框架，因为传统的流程管理现在看来是有许多缺陷的，在服务行业、知识经济在经济活动中越来越重要的地位的大前提下，这些缺陷无益会极大限制在这些领域中的管理改善和管理创新。ERP经过近20年快速普及之后面临许多理论和实践方面的问题，这些问题的根源还是来自于我们对流程的理解和以流程为核心的管理构架。
《协同业务规划－－一个新的组织运营结构体系》
Abstract 摘要
本文提出了一个包含现有以流程体系为核心的理解组织运营结构的新模型，“协同活动规划Collaborative Activity Planning, 或CAP”。迄今为止，我们认为流程或流程组是构成组织运营体系的核心，组织的目标由一个个相互协同的流程来完成。组织的一切管理改善活动都是围绕流程来进行的，如精益、六西格玛、ERP等等，对组织运营体系的管理和优化取决于我们是否能够定义清晰的业务流程。但是，任何组织中都有许多业务活动并不能够用有意义的流程来描述、固化和遵循。本文提出的活动协作规划模型CAP可以很好地解决这一问题。CAP认为完成某一目标的众多管理活动之间更经常的是多对多、动态的协作关系而非单一的上下游或单方向的工作流（而这些逻辑关系往往是固定的），这样CAP就能够很好地表达诸如销售、软件开发、早期的产品开发阶段的活动等场合，而且流程不过是CAP中的一个特例。本文同时讨论了在CAP模型下的活动表达工具、管理优化的方法和与精益、六西格玛的整合，重点提出了传统ERP方法需要的扩展和云计算技术如何成为CAP模型的支撑体系。
This paper proposes a new operational model, of which the traditional process view of organizations is a subset, the Collaborative Activity Planning or CAP. So far, process or a group of processes constitutes the core of organization operational system and the goals of the organization are achieved by the cooperation of these processes. Majority of management activities, including programs like LEAN, Six Sigma and ERP (BPR behind it), focuses on processes. Often the case, a set of clearly defined processes is a prerequisite for any of the management programs to be successful. Many organizational activities, however, cannot be described and documented meaningfully by a set of predefined, fixed processes, let alone following it. The model offered in this paper, CAP, defines these activities by a multiple-to-multiple, dynamic relationship, instead of a bi- or uni-directional workflow (and the process logic is often fixed as well). Activities, such as sales, software development, product/service ideation etc., can be then defined and described properly and the workflow model is a special case of CAP. This paper also provides a set of tools for defining and analyzing the activity relationships, optimization methodology and integration with Lean and Six Sigma and more importantly, a cloud computing roadmap for necessary extension of ERP.
