Spreading to the World (II) - Documentary Documents on Shanghai's Second Free Distribution of Materials for Anti-epidemic

When: 2 April 2022 NZL AOCKLAND

On April 2, 2022, Beijing time on the Gregorian calendar, the second day of the closure of Puxi, Shanghai, China, the government issued supplies for the second time. This time, the Shanghai government distributed 1 old Dabieshan hen and 8 Baba oranges to each household free of charge. These foods have passed the quarantine inspection. The first distribution of supplies was during the Pudong lockdown period (March 29). It is unfortunate to experience the global epidemic for several years. Recording the anti-epidemic data to form documents is a contribution to subsequent researchers (Zhang Jinghong: novel "Luyang Lake", Tianjin People's Publishing House, 2021).

The most effective way to structure literature is to use pictures and texts together. The photos reflect a lot of information that can be interpreted by later researchers. Transcripts always have an emotional stand - love the country and its people, or always be abusive at the government. From the perspective of communication, follow-up researchers should identify the position of the literature (Shen Zongnan and Zhang Jinghong: "Marketing Communication", Shih Hsin University Shanghai School of Communication Management, Shih Hsin University Publishing Center, 2010).

Since the Sino-British Opium War in 1840, the Chinese state has never been stronger than the current era in the past 180 years - political stability, economic prosperity, cultural self-confidence, technological innovation - despite the per capita GDP of Western developed countries, advanced There is still a big gap in fields such as technology and intellectual property, but it is indeed the most powerful period in this historical cross-section.

Going forward to calculate a Jiazi - in 1960, China's domestic natural disaster, Sino-Soviet relations broke down, and relevant literature estimates - at that time, China starved to death due to three years of natural disasters, and the government did not have the strength to distribute materials and comprehensive assistance. Only 60 years later, the three-year-old COVID-19 epidemic has started in 2020. China, a major eastern country, has never experienced the humanitarian disaster that was in the poverty stage 60 years ago. On the contrary, many fields have reached the forefront of the world.

It has been four or five years since my father passed away at the age of 70. My father was born in 1949. When there was a natural disaster in 1960, my grandfather was a poor peasant director, and the family of four still had nothing to eat. Grandpa, grandma, aunt and father drank porridge made of elm bark to satisfy their hunger. Make sure you don't starve. These historical facts, my grandfather and my father have told me. It is unimaginable today that elm trees in northern China are used for furniture, elm tables and elm stools. They are strong and heavy. They can resist cracks better than mahogany furniture when they encounter heating. They actually served as food during the hard times of the 1960s. .

Since the outbreak in Shanghai, some overseas media have been spreading rumors, smearing China's national image, taking out of context, intercepting extremely one-sided facts in the anti-epidemic work to exaggerate and smear China's image. Objectively speaking, in a super city with a population of 25 million, which is equivalent to the population of 5 New Zealand countries, it is inevitable that there will be conflicts between individual neighborhood committees and the masses during the anti-epidemic process, as well as quarrels and conflicts caused by queuing up in the process of queuing up for PCR testing. , and conflicts between individual elderly people in dispensing medicines, etc., are all there. The facts reported by individual media are indeed true, but only tens of millions of individual bad situations of the 25 million anti-epidemic population spread to the world. Therefore, I need to spread a more real China to the world and tell real stories from a global perspective.

My mother, my grandfather, and my uncle all suffered severe injustice during the special historical period from 1966 to 1976. Before 1949, my grandfather had been monitored and criticized by the masses for a long time as the chief accountant and landowner of the five northwestern provinces. My uncle was deprived of the right to go to university because of his status as a child of the landowner. Farming in the countryside all his life, he passed away last year at the age of 72. My mother also married my father as the daughter of a landlord in a special historical period, in order to avoid discrimination in society. These historical facts are described in detail in my novel "Luoyang Lake". But in my generation, the abolition of identity and family composition discrimination has enabled me to take the college entrance examination, go to university, study undergraduate and graduate studies, engage in economic and financial work freely, publish freely, and disseminate culture. This is the continuous progress of history.

I left Shanghai on March 2 and went to Karachi, Lahore, Doha, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Dominica, Auckland, and Wellington successively. Due to the epidemic, I could not return to Shanghai. But I am still willing to spread the real Shanghai anti-epidemic information, and introduce the progressing China and what is happening in China to all friendly countries and people in the world.
