为认真贯彻落实“兴边富民”工程，进一步调查了解边境居民健康状况，提高防艾意识，提高边境县乡（镇）两级妇联干部和防艾专干对艾滋病与性别平等关系的认识，进一步促进边境地区妇女在参与艾滋病防治中的性别平等意识，尤其是提高少数民族（包括外籍媳妇）艾滋病防治的相关知识和防治能力，针对近年来边境地区边民流动频繁感染艾滋病的概率较大，广大妇女儿童和家庭受影响程度严重的状况，省妇联在全省25个边境县举办“艾滋病防治中促进性别平等培训班”。1月19日，为期一天的培训在龙陵县城举行，来自龙陵、腾冲县乡妇联主席和防艾专干参加了培训。
此次培训，是省妇联深入实施“兴边富民”工程防艾项目、维护妇女权益的一项实际工作，把培训班办到县区，把知识传递到基层，是省妇联对保山市广大妇女儿童和家庭的关注和重视、关心和厚爱，是省妇联深入落实科学发展观，推进创先争优活动的具体体现。

边境县区是整个云南艾滋病防治工作的重点领域，保山是区域之一，特别是腾冲、龙陵两县区，省妇联针对社会发展凸现出来的特点，立足实际，紧扣时代主题，找准了妇联工作切入点，充分发挥妇联联系广大妇女儿童的特殊的桥梁纽带作用，更有力的服务妇女儿童，更有力的维护妇女儿童权益的重要举措。
培训会上，省妇联吴涛、范红萍和昆明理工大讲师李娜分别从不同角度、不同层面，采取互动、发放问卷调查表、分组讨论、参与式发言等形式对与会人员进行了培训。对云南省艾滋病防控疫情进行了通报。对各地艾滋病流行对妇女儿童的主要影响进行了了解，对妇联在开展艾滋病防治工作中的主要困难和可利用资源进行了调查。并引导大家制定了符合各地方发展情况的艾滋病防治行动计划。培训过程中，参训人员积极参与，热情很高，讨论气氛热烈、大家发言积极、参与性和动手能力得到充分体现。
吴涛说，通过培训，各地妇联要有所作为，发挥妇联优势，扎实开展好艾滋病防治工作，促进性别平等。腾冲县清水乡妇联主席小杨说，此次培训非常及时，解决了我们的困惑，下步，我们将在工作中进一步发挥妇联的职能作用，在布置产业工作会上，一同把艾滋病防治工作宣传下去，让群众很自然的接受知识。龙陵县龙新乡妇联的匡虹说，此次活动形式新颖，理工大老师讲课深入浅出，听起来很容易接受。下来，我们将把今天学到的知识运用到实际工作中，加强艾滋病防治工作，发挥女性性别优势，切实维护妇女儿童权益，促进社会和谐稳定，为地方经济社会发展服务。（匡鹏）
