伊丽莎白-泰勒获艾滋病研究基金“勇气奖”

搜狐娱乐讯(Vicky/文) 近日，好莱坞常青树伊丽莎白-泰勒(Elizabeth Taylor)、美国前总统比尔-克林顿(Bill Clinton)以及著名设计师黛安-冯-弗斯滕伯格(Diane von Furstenberg)同时获得由美国艾滋病研究基金会(American Foundation for AIDS Research)颁发的爱心奖，以表彰他们在艾滋病研究中所作出的贡献。
美国艾滋病研究基金会由伊丽莎白-泰勒、玛蒂尔德-克里姆(Mathilde Krim)联合创建，此次公益颁奖晚宴恰逢该机构成立二十五周年纪念，众多明星出席并义演，为美国艾滋病研究基金会募款，用于支持艾滋病研究以及为需要的病患募集治疗款。
在美国艾滋病研究基金会公益颁奖晚宴上，伊丽莎白-泰勒、比尔-克林顿和黛安-冯-弗斯滕伯格分别获得“勇气奖(Award of Courage)”。伊丽莎白-泰勒因故当晚并没未能出席现场活动，埃尔顿-约翰(Sir Elton John)代其领奖，并传达了泰勒的问候。当晚募集的善款超过150万美元。此外，美国艾滋病研究基金会主席肯尼思-科尔(Kenneth Cole)在宴会上表达了对音乐界、影坛、时尚圈等各界人士资助和支持基金会研究的谢意。
据悉，自从1998年成立，美国艾滋病研究基金会宴会已成为美国影响力最大、最为成功的艾滋病治疗协作伙伴，目前由各界名人已为美国艾滋病研究基金会筹集的善款已经超过1000万美元。
