| 在第21个世界艾滋病日即将到来之际，包河区疾病预防控制工作人员于11月20走进了安徽工业经济职业技术学院，拉开了迎接2008艾滋病日的帷幕。
青年人是艾滋病的高危人群，通过开展普及艾滋病防治知识的宣传教育活动，可以增强大学生的自我保护意识和能力；另一方面，大学生又是知识的传播者。大学生知识水平与接受能力较高，社会责任感极强，通过对他们开展有关艾滋病知识的宣传教育，再由他们向其他人群传播预防艾滋病的相关知识，将会收到很好的传播效果。
包河区工作人员根据这一特点，结合当今世界艾滋病流行趋势，开展艾滋病宣传培训和知识问答活动，参加培训的有130多名学生。同时在校园的教学楼大厅摆上了各种色彩鲜明防艾知识展板。让青年学生了解艾滋病如何预防、如何正确对待艾滋病人及如何关爱艾滋病人等，意在让他们意识到预防艾滋、你我共参与的理念。本次宣传我们共发放艾滋病知识彩页500多份，艾滋病病预防知识小册子600多本，宣传画40余张，宣传油笔100支。
