自“运十”下马到大飞机项目启动，虽然延宕二十余年，却足以告慰一代民航人的“飞天梦”。5月11日，我国自主研制大飞机的项目公司——中国商用飞机有限责任公司在沪挂牌成立，该公司注册资本达190亿元，总部设在上海，上海未来将成为国产大飞机的项目研发、总装和售后服务三大中心。整个研制过程需要耗时十年以上，却能给国家带来巨大的产业拉动和经济增长。
研究表明，如果将民用船舶业对产业拉动以1元钱计算，家电为45元，汽车为80元，而大型客机为800元；同时，从投入产出效益来看，每向航空工业投入1万美元，10年后大约可以产生50万至80万美元的收益。材料科学、动力系统、仪表仪器、机械制造等产业将借大飞机之“东风”，提升技术内涵，优化产业结构。
机床是装备制造业的“工作母机”。《国务院关于加快振兴装备制造业的若干意见》和《国家中长期科学和技术发展规划纲要(2006-2020年)》中都明确指出，重点发展高档数控机床、重大成套技术装备、关键材料与关键零部件等重大专项。
航空航天工业产品零件的特点是耐高温、高强度、难加工，同时合金材料和复合材料多、复杂结构件多、工艺要求高。大飞机的梁、框、肋和壁板的毛坯所用的板材或锻件，都是重则几百公斤甚至数吨的大块头，得用重型、超重型机床加工。毛坯75%-95%的材料都得被车磨镗铣掉，因此需要大型、高速、精密、多轴的高性能数控落地铣床、加工中心、大型五面加工设备、主轴AB主轴摆动的五轴立式加工中心；发动机机匣加工需要用精密加工中心和坐标镗铣加工中心；发动机涡轮叶片和叶轮加工需要用五轴立式加工中心、五轴高速龙门铣床等关键技术设备；还需要大量高刚性、高效率的专用机床和柔性自动生产线。
除机床外，国产的多通道模块化数控系统问世，可同时实现铣、磨、钻等16个以上工序的加工及动作，特别是一次装卡技术极大地提高了工件加工精度。而以前国内生产的五轴联动数控系统，只能同时完成一个工序的加工。目前，“全数字总线开放式高档数控系统”也已成功装配到国产机床上。
尽管形势喜人，但国产数控机床与进口数控机床仍有较大差距。一直以来，国外对我国先进数控机床的进口进行技术封锁，因此我国的高端数控机床将会随着大飞机项目的启动而获得突破。
此外，机床行业不仅要为飞机制造厂设计、制造、安装机床、柔性生产线和加工中心，还要争取为飞机制造厂提供咨询建议、设备成套、工程承包和交钥匙工程等一揽子服务。因此，大飞机制造给了机床工具行业难得的发展机遇，机床行业将藉此完成产业升级，借机实现产业腾飞。

Machine Tool Sector to Grow
From the initiating of ‘Yun 10’ transport airplane project to big-scale aircraft project, time is enough to comfort the flying dream of civil aviation researchers. In May 11, one of China’s independently developed large aircraft company, China Commercial Aircraft Limited, was set up in Shanghai with capital of RMB 19 billion. Shanghai will become a center of research, assembly and after sales services for big-scale aircraft. The project will need 10 years to complete and stimulate economic growth greatly.
One of the surveys shows that if the pulling of civilian ship industry to the whole industry can be counted as one Yuan, then 45 Yuan for home appliance, 80 Yuan for automobile and 800 Yuan for large aircraft; at the same time, every 10 thousand US $ invest will bring output of US$ 500-800 thousand in 10 years. The industry of materials science, power system, instrumentation and machinery manufacturing will upgrade its technology capability and optimize the industrial structure with the development of aircraft.
Machine tool is the foundation of equipment manufacturing. The government document, State council’s Guidelines on Accelerating Development of Equipment Manufacturing and Long-term National Scientific and Technological Development Plan (2006-2020), stated that the focus will be developing high-end CNC machine tools, complete sets of major equipment, materials and key parts & components etc.
In addition to machine tools, domestic multi-channel modular NC system has came into being, which can achieve more than 16 process and actions including milling, grinding, drilling. The one-card uploading technology, especially, improves the accuracy greatly. The previous domestic 5-axis NC system can only complete one process at one time. At present, the all-digital bus open NC system has successfully equipped on domestic machine tool.
Although the situation is gratifying, there is still a wide gap between domestic CNC machine and imported machines. It is been a long time since the blockade of advanced NC system imports, therefore, China’s high-end CNC machine tools will achieve a breakthrough by initiating of this aircraft project.
Furthermore, the machine tool industry has to provide aircraft manufacturer with consultancy, sets of equipment, project contracting and turnkey projects services, besides from providing equipment. Therefore, it will be a rare opportunity for machine tool manufacturers to achieve industrial upgrading and growth.
