  新华网东京11月9日电(记者蓝建中)日本研究人员9日在美国《国家科学院学报》网络版上发表论文说,他们发现艾滋病病毒制造的蛋白质“Vif”能调整被感染细胞的分裂周期,建立适宜病毒增殖的环境。这一发现有可能促进开发新的艾滋病治疗药物。

  京都大学医学系教授高折晃史率领的研究小组,调查了“Vif”蛋白质与人体免疫细胞内各种物质的关系,发现“Vif”蛋白质会附着在免疫细胞内的特定物质上,使控制细胞分裂周期蛋白质的量增加。一旦细胞的分裂周期进入了某种特定状态,艾滋病病毒就变得容易增殖。

  此前的研究发现,“Vif”蛋白质可分解人体内妨碍艾滋病病毒增殖的物质,此次研究又显示这种蛋白质另一种促进艾滋病病毒增殖的机制。如果能够开发出分解“Vif”蛋白质的物质,就有可能开发出与原有艾滋病治疗药物作用机制不同的新药。
