        腾讯财经讯 北京时间11月24日早间消息 最新一项研究结果表明,Gilead Sciences Inc.公司旗下的一款常规药片Truvada有助于防止同性恋或者双性恋男性感染HIV。分析人士指出,该种药片将帮助Gilead Sciences将其年营业收入提高10亿美元。目前,Gilead Sciences是全世界最大的艾滋病药物生产商。
    根据New England Journal of Medicine本周二公布的一项研究结果,作为一项抑制已经感染艾滋病的患者各种病毒蔓延的药物,Truvada能够将HIV的风险降低44%。而对于那些经常使用这种药物的人,其新感染HIV的几率可以降低多达73%。据悉,此次研究是过去14个月中第三次针对HIV的预防试验。尽管医学界已经进行了长达数十年的努力,但是截止目前仍然未能开发出一种有效的疫苗。
    对于此次的研究结果,美国疾病控制和预防中心指出,截止目前,安全套仍然是防止感染艾滋病最为有限的方式,而Truvada尚未被批准作为预防艾滋病的药物使用。根据美国疾病控制和预防中心的预计,在此次研究结果公布后,很多男性将立即要求得到Truvada。(瑥丼)

    国际在线报道(记者付旭):联合国艾滋病规划署23日在日内瓦发布了2010年全球艾滋病报告,报告指出,全球新增艾滋病感染者和因艾滋病死亡的人数均呈下降趋势。
    艾滋病规划署执行主任西迪贝当天在联合国日内瓦办事处举行的新闻发布会上表示,“今天我们可以充满信心地宣布,我们遏制住了艾滋病大流行的发展势头。全球新增艾滋病感染者比10年前减少了近20%,因艾滋病死亡的人数也比5年前减少了近20%。全球至少有56个国家的新增艾滋病感染者保持稳定或是大幅下降。”
    报告指出,在全世界艾滋病最为猖獗的5个国家中,埃塞俄比亚、南非、赞比亚和津巴布韦都实现了新增艾滋病感染者减少25%以上,而尼日利亚则保持稳定,但东欧和中亚一些国家的新增艾滋病感染者出现了大幅上升。此外,全球在实现艾滋病治疗普遍可及、减少母婴传播、减少歧视等方面均取得了一定进展,但仍面临大部分非洲艾滋病患者接受抗逆转录病毒治疗较晚,一些国家将同性性行为视为犯罪,以及国际援助资金下降等一系列困难。
    报告提供的数据显示,2009年全球新增艾滋病感染者260万人,180万人死于艾滋病,截止到2009年底,全球共有艾滋病感染者3330万人。

    艾滋病规划署当天就全球艾滋病状况公布年度报告。报告说,2009年,260万人感染艾滋病毒,较2001年310万人的峰值减少19%。截至2009年年底,全球共有3330万艾滋病毒携带者,较前一年少10万。
    “我们已停止并开始扭转这种疫情,”艾滋病规划署执行主任米歇尔·西迪贝说,“更少的人感染艾滋病毒,更少的人死于艾滋病。”
