全国艾滋病毒感染和患者达74万 艾滋病病人10.5万

记者 朱勤 报道 11月2日，中国红十字会艾滋病预防与关爱会议在沈阳召开，来自全国的80名红十字会代表参会。副省长滕卫平出席会议。
会上介绍，中国自1985年发现第一例艾滋病病人以来，截至去年10月底，累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和病人319877例，其中艾滋病病人102323例;报告死亡49845例。卫生部与联合国艾滋病规划署和世卫组织联合对中国2009年艾滋病疫情进行的评估结果显示，至2009年底，估计中国艾滋病病毒感染者和病人约74万人，其中，艾滋病病人为10.5万人;估计2009年当年新发艾滋病病毒感染者4.8万人。在目前的感染者和病人中，经性传播途径感染已接近六成。
2003年8月，省红十字会开展了艾滋病预防能力建设项目，目标人群为青年学生、艾滋病病毒感染者和病人、娱乐场所服务人员以及吸毒者等。截至目前，省红十字会已帮助建立和完善发展各目标人群活动小组共28个，覆盖14个市。

Ministry of Health and UNAIDS and WHO jointly conducted the AIDS epidemic in China in 2009 the assessment results to the end of 2009, estimated that patients with HIV infection and about 74 million people, of which 10.5 million AIDS patients; the year 2009, estimated new HIV infections are 4.8 million people. In the present, and patients infected by sexual transmission of infection is close to Liu Cheng.
August 2003, the provincial Red Cross Society launched a HIV prevention capacity-building projects, the target population for the young students, and patients infected with HIV, as well as drug users and other entertainment services. Up to now, the provincial Red Cross has helped to establish and improve the development activities of the target population group of 28, covering 14 cities.
