英国主持人涉嫌为艾滋病人实施安乐死被逮捕

英国诺丁汉郡警方17日逮捕英国广播公司知名主持人雷·戈斯林，理由是戈斯林涉嫌20多年前为一名身患艾滋病的同性情人实施安乐死。
在英国广播公司15日播出的一部纪录片中，现年70岁的戈斯林说，他的同性情人因感染艾滋病饱受折磨。按照两人事先约定，戈斯林用枕头“捂死”情人。
英国诺丁汉郡警方一名女发言人17日说：“诺丁汉郡警方今天早晨逮捕一名70岁的诺丁汉人，根据英国广播公司15日晚间播出的节目，他涉嫌谋杀。”
按照警方说法，在那部纪录片15日播出前，警方并不知晓这桩案件。
戈斯林说，他不会说出自己情人的名字，也不会说出实施安乐死的地点。他坚称不为自己行为后悔。
英国法律规定，助人自杀是非法行为，可获判最长14年监禁。
