4月8日，记者从新疆维吾尔自治区卫生厅疾控处获悉，在前几日召开的全区疾病预防控制会议上，部署了2010年全区艾滋病、结核病、碘缺乏病、流感等重大疾病预防控制、国家免疫规划和15岁以下人群查漏补种乙肝疫苗等重大公共卫生服务项目工作，从日常加强对严重威胁人民健康的传染病、慢性病、地方病、职业病和出生缺陷等疾病的监测与预防控制，避免大病、慢病缠上身。
自治区卫生厅疾病控制处处长马明辉介绍，今年重大疾病预防控制工作将目标定为：免疫规划、急性传染病防控、结核病防治、碘缺乏病防治、慢性非传染性疾病防治、艾滋病防治六项工作。
自治区卫生厅厅长买买提·牙森表示，加强疾病预防控制体系建设是有效实现公共卫生服务均等化的重要条件，应该说本次医改对疾病预防控制等公共卫生工作在医改中定位、改革目标、策略与措施最为清晰，也是改革实施以来推进最为顺利的工作。

免疫规划：查漏补缺
根据实施方案，到今年，乙肝疫苗、卡介苗、脊髓灰质炎疫苗、百白破疫苗、麻疹疫苗适龄儿童接种率以乡为单位达到90%以上，流脑疫苗、甲肝疫苗适龄儿童接种率以乡为单位达到58%以上，炭疽疫苗应急接种目标人群接种率达到70%以上。
马明辉处长表示，今年自治区将继续健全预防接种网络，加强预防接种规范化门诊建设，落实入学、入托儿童预防接种证查验和漏种儿童补种工作，减少或消除免疫空白人群。急性传染病：
处置率100%
为防控新疆可能出现的甲流第二波流行，自治区卫生厅建立了甲流疫苗储备制度，将安排各地在今年秋季适当时间开展重点人群预防接种工作。
同时，努力做到今年法定报告传染病总发病率有所降低，暴发疫情规范调查处置率达到100%。
艾滋病：逢孕必检
目前，新疆在全国率先实施了预防母婴传播全覆盖。
今年，国家为新疆安排专项宣教经费500万元，要求各乡镇卫生院均要设立HIV快速检测筛查室，为孕产妇和其他人群提供免费自愿咨询检测，提高其自愿接受HIV检测的意识，扩大孕产妇HIV检测率，努力实现“逢孕必检”。
碘缺乏病：基本消除
今年，全区所有未实现基本消除碘缺乏病目标的和田、喀什、阿克苏等40个县市，居民合格碘盐食用率必须达到90%，已实现基本消除碘缺乏病目标的25个县市，居民合格碘盐食用率必须达到95%以上，保证全区以县为单位消除或基本消除碘缺乏病目标的实现。
