宋圭武观点57：如何理性面对死亡
保持微笑和欢愉，是面对死亡的理性方式。
第一，死亡是不可避免的，因为这是大自然的必然法则。面对不可避免的事件，保持微笑和欢愉，是取得自身生命价值最大化的有效途径。因为你若痛苦，也是白痛苦，只是在给自己的人生多增加不产生任何收益的成本而已。而且你越痛苦，越惧怕死亡，死亡会越倾向靠近你。所以，惧怕和痛苦死亡是极为不明智不理性的。
第二，死亡本身也是一种美。庄子说，天地有大美不言。大自然的一切安排都是最好的。死亡是大自然对生命的恩赐。因为只有通过死亡，生命才可以认识和感知更多的世界，人生才可以了解更多的宇宙故事，就如旅途，多一种变化，必然多一种风景。夏花与秋叶，各有其美。若世界一直是夏花，则必然人类审美疲劳，按经济学原理，必然是人生的边际效用递减。生如夏花绚丽，死如秋叶静美。生与死，其实都是美。
第三，有了死亡，人类才会更加珍惜生命，生命才会更有价值。
第四，世界若没有死亡，世界必然是真正的死亡。因为死亡意味着变化，若没有死亡，必然没有变化，必然是真正的死亡。所以，生命本身就意味死亡，死亡也正是生命活出生命价值的方式之一。
第五，但死亡必须要符合自然原则，不能人为死亡。比如自杀或他杀，都是不好的，因为自杀或他杀都是对自然原则的违背，这种死亡方式会受到大自然的谴责和惩罚。
