民俗文化对商业的影响和指导作用

所谓民俗,即是指一个民族的一大群人在一代代内形成的一种习俗。一讲起民俗,有的人会感到很遥远,有的人认为很俗气。民俗,其实绝对不是一门俗气的课题。能在一个漫长的年代内村流下来的东西必然是经历了时间的考验的。在这方面圈内已有很多学者对其有了甚深的研究,但其对现代商业的指导和影响作用,还是很年轻的一门学科。

在中国:出淤泥而不染,《爱莲说》中有:爱莲之出淤泥而不染,濯清涟而不妖。在中国还有观音坐莲花之上的形象,一般让大多数人所推崇和喜爱,用莲花作商业广告或者相关宣传的主体,一般人们会易于接受 

在日本:死亡的象征,显然就难以被日本民众所接受

 

 

 

 

 

特别的例子1:中国印的设计:篆刻是中华民族传承了几千年的传统文化,其民俗文化的意义十分深远,从一开始的封泥印(就像现在的盖邮戳),到后来的历代人和帝王的玉玺和大臣子的大印,还有民间的艺人工匠为富豪作的篆刻艺术品,文人学士们自己的起首章和姓名印。这无不体现了印学的民俗文化意义。而在传统文化日渐成为一种远离纷扰的商业环境而去的时候,它自己便成了一种为少部分人所热爱,研究,被大部分人所推崇,赞颂的一种体现一个人或者一个民族的历史渊源和文化的精髓。中国2008

As we talk about folklore, we mean the convention formed and developed within a people or a crowd of people from generation to generation. When folklore is mentioned, the words like “far away” or “vulgar” ar always related. Folklore, seemingly a profound yet boring subject, is never vulgar or boring. Things bear great test of time which are passed on from long ago. It explains everything. In this specific area many scholars have long been researching on it and are quite deep into it, nevertheless, as to “the impact and function of guidance of cultural folklore on businesses”, is a young subject.

 

Example 1 about color: wedding and funeral

Object: lotus

In china: lotus comes from the mud and does not get stained. In on the love of lotus people praise lotus saying “we love lotus for it comes from the mud and does not get stained, blossoming with the spring yet does not seem coquettish”. In China the image of Kwan-yin sitting on the lotus appeals to most people. People will tend to accept a commercial or promotion with an image of a lotus in China.

In Japan: lotus is the symbol of death, evidently it cannot be accepted by Japanese.

 

 

Example in particular 1: the design of “zhongguoyin”

Seal cutting is one of the profoundest Chinese traditional arts forms which took its from in ancient time. From “fengni seal”(equals to postmark of today) to emperors’ imperial jade seal, the art works the civil millionaires collect made by folk artists and litterateurs own seal cuttings for themselves. All of this none but explained that seal cutting is an important branch of Chinese folklore. 收入:即买者的收入。对于正常物品,收入减少,他的需求会减少(这里不具体讨论)

相关物品价格:相关物品分为替代品和互补品(举个例子火柴和打火机就是替代品,汽车和汽油就是互补品),相关物品的价格变化会影响原物品的价格

预期:即消费者对物品价格的推测

买者数量:购买的人数

嗜好:即我要详细剖析的因素。决定消费者的需求的最明显因素是嗜好。如果你喜欢冰淇淋,你会多买一些。经济学家通常并不想解释人们的嗜好因为嗜好基于超越了经济学范围的历史与心理因素。但是,经济学家要考查当嗜好变动时会发生什么变化。而我要讨论的民俗文化对人们嗜好的影响就时基于历史与心理因素,这是一种超越传统商业意义因素,但仍然逃离不了经济学的范畴。
