贝利马丁奖首次颁发给艾滋病病毒感染者

本报北京11月27日讯（记者易蓉蓉）11月26日～28日，在中国疾病预防控制中心性病艾滋病预防控制中心、福特基金会和贝利马丁基金会等有关机构支持下，中华预防医学会和青岛大学“朋友”项目在京举办全国男男性行为人群艾滋病防治工作经验交流暨“朋友”项目10年庆典与贝利马丁奖颁奖大会。
200多名来自全国各级疾病预防控制中心、男男性行为人群社区、科研院所以及国际组织驻华机构的代表参加了会议。
开幕式上，卫生部原副部长、中华预防医学会会长王陇德指出，当前我国艾滋病的上升趋势仍未得到有效遏制，防治任务艰巨，特别是在男男性行为人群中，防控形势更为严峻。防控艾滋病单靠政府的力量是远远不够的，需要加强国际合作，将国际社会的成功经验和实践运用到中国的艾滋病防治工作中；还需要团结和动员社会各个方面的力量，特别是民间社团的力量，来共同预防和控制艾滋病的传播，关怀和关爱艾滋病病人，减少社会歧视，营造友好社会氛围。
卫生部疾病控制局副局长郝阳表示，能否有效控制男男性行为人群艾滋病疫情快速上升的势头，在一定程度上决定着中国未来艾滋病疫情的走势。近几年，中国政府在加大各项艾滋病防治工作力度的同时，特别加大了对男男性行为人群艾滋病防治工作的力度，不仅出台了在该人群开展防治工作的政策文件和技术指南，而且大幅度增加经费投入，并积极扶持、推动民间组织参与艾滋病防治工作。
中国疾病预防控制中心性病艾滋病预防控制中心主任王宇提出，今后将在男男性行为人群中开展艾滋病防治工作的重点工作，如建立艾滋病病毒感染者和病人服务体系、增强网络干预力度、动员场所经营者开展场所内干预等。
男男性行为人群社区代表就男男性行为人群艾滋病流行形势及防治经验、反歧视与社会政策促进、艾滋病病毒感染者服务以及女性同性恋文化等话题，与疾病控制领域专业人员以及专家学者进行了热烈讨论。社区代表对政府近年来的关注给予了认可，但仍然希望在参与政策制定、艾滋病病人抗艾滋病病毒治疗和减少歧视等方面给予重视。
“朋友”项目10周年庆典和2008年度贝利马丁奖颁奖活动同期举行。与会代表对《朋友》这一特殊的杂志在过去10年中，在向我国男男性行为人群传递艾滋病防治知识和促进社区健康文化建设方面给予了积极评价。
本年度贝利马丁奖颁发给了孟林和小枫两位艾滋病病毒感染者，以表彰他们在我国艾滋病防治工作中的模范和示范作用。这是贝利马丁基金会自2000年设立专项奖后首次颁发给艾滋病病毒感染者，将激励更多的人为弱势群体提供关心和关爱。
贝利马丁基金会是由英国慈善家马丁·哥顿创办的，每年颁发奖金表彰在中国为艾滋病教育、预防、治疗和关怀作出突出贡献的医务工作者或医疗机构。之前的获奖者分别是青岛大学教授张北川、北京佑安医院医生徐连芝、武汉大学教授桂希恩等人。
