国家科技重大课题落户广西 致力艾滋病研究

中广网南宁6月6日消息（记者张垒 梧州台谢大明）6月5日，国家科技重大专项课题《防治性病对预防艾滋病作用的研究》在广西梧州市启动，国家疾病预防控制中心性病中心在这里举办为期两天的专题培训，来自梧州市和贺州市的60多名防治艾滋病工作人员接受了培训。
我国自1985年报告第一例艾滋病病例以来，艾滋病病毒（HIV）感染和艾滋病的流行已经成为重要的公共卫生和社会问题。国家高度重视艾滋病的防治工作，投入大量人力和物力资源，采取一系列的防治措施，经过多年的努力使艾滋病经采、供血传播得到有效遏制。然而，历年报告的艾滋病病毒感染者和艾滋病患者中，经性病传播的构成比例呈逐年上升趋势。为此，国家疾病预防控制中心性病中心设立了本课题，拟在广西、广东、江苏、海南等四个省（自治区）开展研究。
据介绍，梧州市和贺州市被选定为这个国家科技重大专项课题在广西实施的重要基地，实施时间至明年年底。在实施过程中，两市将设立以城区为单位的“干预点”和“对照点”，在HIV性传播高危人群中，包括暗娼、男男性接触者、性病门诊患者等，开展加强性病防治对降低HIV经性传播作用的对照、前瞻性研究。通过及时发现和有效治疗性病，降低HIV传播和感染的几率，为国家制定和完善艾滋病的控制策略提供重要依据。
