中移动爱心项目已救助上万名艾滋孤儿

北京金融街，高楼耸立。这里，聚集了众多国内外大型金融机构和国企总部，也是全国一平方公里高端产业最聚集、创造价值最大的区域。中国移动坐落于此。然而，让人难以想到的是，这样的金融宝地身后却蕴藏着一个与艾滋病有关的公益项目——中国温暖12.1爱心基金中国移动关爱行动。
该项目是2007年，中国移动与全国妇联合作，捐助5000万元开通的，通过帮助艾滋病致孤儿童寻找爱心家庭，通过对爱心家庭进行资助，改善艾滋病致孤儿童的生活学习环境，促进其身心健康发展。
近日，中国移动通信集团公司副总裁李正茂接受记者采访，这是中国温暖12.1项目启动三年来，中国移动首次关于艾滋病公益项目面向媒体。
“在12.1这个事情上，我们多年来坚持多做少说。”李正茂副总裁坦言，“经过几年的努力，我们的项目取得了显著的成绩，同时我们也越发感受到，仅仅靠一个企业的爱心是远远不够的。解决艾滋病致孤儿童问题需要全社会共同努力，比如：为艾滋病致孤儿童创造一个更为和谐的生活环境，大家不再歧视艾滋病人和艾滋病致孤儿童，而是尊重他们、帮助他们。中国温暖12.1爱心基金—中国移动关爱行动是我们播下的一颗种子。”
中国移动通信集团公司作为全球通信行业客户和网络规模最大、市值最大的电信运营商，已连续三年入选道·琼斯可持续发展指数。在追求商业成功的同时，中国移动积极履行自身的社会责任，重点关注和帮助社会弱势群体。从2007年开始，中国移动与艾滋病公益领域结下了不解之缘。
据民政部相关人员透露，这是国内企业资助有关艾滋病公益领域，数额最大，持续时间最长的救助，是目前国内最大的对受艾滋病影响儿童救助的公益项目。
业内一位专家表示，艾滋病领域作为公益的“冷门”领域，显然已经受到越来越多企业的关注。这跟目前政府的号召有很大关联。
从2003年我国政府非常重视艾滋病致孤儿童的关爱和救助工作，温家宝总理多次看望艾滋病致孤儿童。而在此之前，中国社会各界对艾滋病的关注并没有提高到一个很高的高度。此后，国务院及其有关部委多次下发文件，呼吁全社会都来关心救助艾滋病致孤儿童。
根据卫生部发布的最新数据截至2010年10月底，我国累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和病人37万余例，其中病人13万余例，死亡6.8万余例。
据了解，从2003年开始，政府开始大力关注艾滋病的预防。2009年，中央财政投入18个亿投入艾滋病宣传和预防，这其中不包括各省市的财政投入。
李正茂表示，中国移动作为国有特大型企业，不仅仅把自己定位于一个经济实体，更是把履行社会责任提高到战略高度。“在艾滋病等比较特殊的资助领域，配合政府进行艾滋病致孤儿童关爱是目前我们的指导方针。”
据李正茂介绍，中国温暖12.1项目，经过三年的努力，项目年资助人数超过万名，资助人数累计达12931名。“资助标准是每年为每个孩子发放1000元的资助金。同时我们还投入了300万元建成了项目宣传网站和项目管理平台。”据了解，项目管理平台把1万余名受助儿童数据纳入统一管理，已成为中国目前最大最全的艾滋病致孤儿童和特困儿童数据库。
李正茂接受记者采访时表示，像艾滋病等一些较“难”的公益领域，中国移动作为国有大型企业更有责任配合政府进行艾滋病致孤儿童关爱，善尽企业的社会责任。
