正义网辽宁9月19日电（通讯员 王辉）近日，辽宁本溪女子看守所开展了预防艾滋病宣传活动，在进行逐人抽血检验的基础上，进行了专题知识讲座，受到女性在押人员的欢迎和好评。
近年来，我国艾滋病感染者人数呈上升趋势，女子看守所所领导班子对此高度重视，针对关押人员社会经历各异、犯罪类型复杂等特点，专门从市艾滋病预防中心聘请的专家及医务人员对在押人员进行检验和宣传。工作中，看守所民警和预防中心的专家精心为在押人员进行了艾滋病预防知识讲座课。课堂上，专家就当前艾滋病在我国及世界范围内的流行态势、传播速度，主要传播途径、方式、危害以及在工作如何避免感染艾滋病毒进行了细致的讲解（艾滋病的传播主要有血液传播，性传播，母婴传播这三种方式）；其次，进行毒品危害的宣传教育，告知在押人员要远离毒品、珍爱生命；最后，对预防艾滋病的重要意义及其如何做好防范进行了生动讲解。讲座之后，医务人员为全所100余名在押人员抽血检验，并对部分在押人员进行了吸毒者健康状况抽样调查问卷。其间，着重纠正了吸毒者对艾滋病的一些错误认识，使民警和在押人员全面掌握了艾滋病的传播途径和艾滋病预防知识，进一步提高了管教民警的科学管理意识和在押人员自身防治意识。
由于宣传发动到位，本溪女子看守所的这一举措得到了在押人员的积极配合和一致好评。在押人员小燕说：“打来到这里的第一天开始，管教们对我就如同姐妹，现在还为我们的健康着想，为我们普法和体检，这都让我们很感动，我们一定好好改造思想，争取尽早做一个干干净净、堂堂正正的人，以汇报社会对我们的从未放弃的关爱。”
