广西新闻网 南宁1月9日讯（见习记者 潘晓明）1月9日上午，由自治区党委宣传部、卫生厅、教育厅、防艾办联合主办的“遏制艾滋、关爱生命广西深入推进防治艾滋病工作图片展”在自治区博物馆开展。自治区党委常委、常务副主席李金早，自治区党委常委、宣传部部长沈北海，自治区副主席李康出席了开展仪式。
此次图片展览分为：什么是艾滋病，艾滋病的发现、病毒及起源，全球艾滋病流行情况，艾滋病对人类的严重危害，全球应对艾滋病挑战，中国拉响防治艾滋病红色警报，广西向艾滋病宣战，为了人类美好的今天和辉煌的明天等九个部分，从世界和我国防治艾滋病的角度切入，展示了广西防治艾滋病工作的宏大场景。展览的内容丰富，给人启示，发人深省。
记者了解到，举办此次图片展目的就是要通过各地、各有关部门在防治艾滋病工作中拍摄到的各种艾滋病相关的真实图片，如实反映艾滋病病毒感染者和患者的生存状态，宣传艾滋病的传播途径、预防办法等基本知识，展示党和政府防治艾滋病的方针、政策和措施、要求。同时也有力地推动了广西艾滋病防治宣传教育活动，对提高公众防治艾滋病意识和能力，倡导文明健康的生活方式，避免高危行为，消除歧视与恐慌，关爱艾滋病感染者和患者，动员全社会参与艾滋病防治工作将起到积极的作用。
艾滋病是一种与人的社会行为密切相关的传染病。由于艾滋病毒破坏的是人体的免疫系统，且具易于变异的特殊性，迄今除了能抑制和延缓艾滋病的进展外，人类尚未开发出疫苗。因此，预防和控制艾滋病关系到人类健康和经济社会发展，关系到中华民族兴衰和国家存亡。为此，自治区党委、自治区人民政府高度重视防治艾滋病工作，根据国家的统一部署，加强了对全区防治艾滋病工作的组织领导，形成了政府组织领导、部门各负其责、全社会共同参与的综合防治艾滋病的工作合力，取得了阶段性成效。
