温暖的红丝带 关爱艾滋病感染者

小古是山东省青岛市红十字会的一位志愿者。丈夫感染艾滋病的第一天起，她几乎没有睡过一个好觉，天天做噩梦。然而厄运并没有就此结束，悲惨的事情又接踵而来。她也被检测出感染上了艾滋病毒。面对眼前的这一切，小古陷入极度的痛苦和绝望之中。“我特别害怕，曾一度想到自杀”。正当她万念俱灰想以死来结束这一切之时，青岛市红十字会的工作人员了解到她的情况，来到了她的身边，不仅解决了她经济和生活上的困难，而且还帮助她成为一名红十字志愿者。
上世纪90年代初，云南省红十字会率先采取多种形式宣传艾滋病的有关知识。随着工作的不断深入，各地红十字会逐步发展为对高危行为实施行为干预，针对不同的高危人群采取不同的干预措施。
黑龙江省红十字会经过多年的摸索，总结出了一套行之有效男男同性恋人群的行为干预方法。他们为减少男男同性恋之间的传播专门成立了真爱家园，对男男同性恋人群中的艾滋病感染者给予多方面的帮助，让他们在保护好自己的同时也不要向他人传播。“由报复转变成害怕传染给别人”，接受过培训的感染者在思想上得到转变。哈尔滨市红十字会几乎和所有当地的男男同性恋草根组织建立了非常良好的合作关系，经常在一起开展活动，让他们成为艾滋病预防工作的骨干。
中国红十字会还致力于对艾滋病病人的关怀和救助、帮助艾滋病患者重新燃起生的希望。辽宁省的姜红霞夫妇发病后，非常痛苦。姜红霞几次试图自杀，当被救过来以后，辽宁省红十字会的工作人员走进了他们夫妇的生活，邀请他们参加红十字会举办的药物和营养膳食讲座，督促他们按时吃抗病毒药物，鼓励他们坚强起来，战胜困难。姜红霞加入了阳光家园，学会了编织红丝带，使她每个月都有一定的收入。姜红霞和丈夫重新树立起了生活的信心，笑容又回到了他们的脸上。
