  据悉,由中国医科大学附属第一医院院长尚红主持的《中国HIV感染者病毒生物学特性、免疫应答与疾病进展相关性研究》获得2008年度国家科学技术进步奖。本项目综合运用流行病学、分子生物学、免疫学和遗传学等技术,对我国艾滋病重点地区的HIV-1病毒生物学特性、机体免疫应答和遗传背景与疾病进展的相关性开展了全面、系统的研究。

  该项目首次发现在我国流行的HIV-1毒株具有罕见突变和新的重组形式;首次分析了我国HIV感染者体内中和抗体保守表位氨基酸变异特征;在国内首次发现多个耐药突变位点与我国现用艾滋病抗病毒药物有关,为进一步优化现有治疗方案提供了重要参考;在国际上首次报道了NK细胞表面CD226分子参与了HIV感染诱导的NK细胞活化;首次定义了新的HIV-1P15、P17、P24CTL表位,揭示了我国艾滋病不同疾病进展阶段的天然免疫和获得性免疫特征及其变化;首次发现我国HIV感染长期不进展者存在高NK细胞、低CCR5表达、高DC细胞和CD4+T细胞低凋亡;首次在我国人群中发现HIV/HCV合并感染进一步降低免疫系统功能;在人类基因学研究方面发现了多个等位基因与艾滋病疾病进展相关;并首次发现我国人群特有的基因突变与HIV感染后疾病缓慢进展有关。

  该项目培养博士、硕士研究生53人,对全国三千余人次进行了艾滋病检测、病情监测和抗病毒治疗培训,提高了基层艾滋病防治队伍的技术水平,有力地推动了我国艾滋病防治工作的顺利开展。项目期间在国内外知名杂志发表艾滋病相关论文共计145篇,SCI收录20篇,国内外论文他引310次,扩大了我国艾滋病自然史领域研究工作在国际上的影响。

  尚红教授同时兼任中国性病艾滋病防治协会副会长,卫生部艾滋病专家咨询委员会委员,卫生部艾滋病临床治疗专家组成员、中美综合性艾滋病防治研究项目科学顾问委员会委员、中华医学会检验医学分会主任委员等职。尚红先后主持了“十五”国家科技攻关计划、973计划、国家重大基础研究前期研究专项、国家自然科学基金等课题40余项,经费1400余万元。阶段性研究成果先后获1999年、2004年辽宁省政府科技进步一等奖等多项奖励。
