湖北大冶80多患者在医院输血染上艾滋病

据《武汉晨报》1月20日报道，湖北大冶市二医院80多名患者因在该医院输血而感染了艾滋病，还有人将艾滋病传给了妻子或孩子，总人数近百人。
这一事件可以追溯到上世纪90年代，据该医院副院长徐春阳介绍，当时该院使用的血液一部分由大冶市血站供应，质量有保证；另外一部分血源则由该院自行向卖血者采集，金牛镇有几名农民常年向他们医院供血。这几名农民中有四五人曾前往河南卖血，染上了艾滋病回家后，继续向他们医院供血。
该院医生在不知情的情况下，将这些携带有艾滋病毒的血液输入到前往该院接受手术的患者体内。其中1996年到1997年在他们医院做手术时接受过输血的患者中，80余人感染了艾滋病，还有人将艾滋病传给了妻子或孩子，总人数近百人，主要分布在金牛镇及周边。
徐春阳还表示，该院已借款800多万，用于一次性赔偿患者，并承担了此后并发症治疗费用。而且为了赔偿这些患者，自2003年来，该院发给员工的绩效工资逐渐递减，医院发展也遇到严重困难。
对此，大冶市委宣传部副部长张林介绍，每次患者与大冶市二医院就赔偿发生争执时，该市相关部门都会及时介入协调，该市对艾滋病患者及其家庭成员的救助工作已制度化，日常化。
据了解，大冶市是全国首批艾滋病综合防治示范区，2004年4月，该市被列为全球基金艾滋病防治项目县。
