对待一个和自己不一样的观点，一般不要轻易否定，要先看看人家为什么要提出这样一个观点，要搞清楚人家提出观点的支撑理由是什么，然后再根据理由是否充分，再谈批判或反驳的问题。
一些人一看到别人提出的观点不符合自己的口味，不看人家提出的理由如何，就直接否定，这是不妥的，也是鲁莽的，是不符合理性精神的。甚至有些人一看到不符合自己口味的观点，就直接是谩骂，甚至人身攻击，这更是一种低级和野蛮的态度。
这种轻易否定别人观点，且满嘴脏话骂人的人，其实不仅表现了自己的无知，而且也表现了自己的无耻。说无知，是因为这些人不知道学问的天有多高，也不知道学问的地有多厚。说无耻，是因为这些人不仅自大狂妄，还狭隘自私。学术讨论或观点争论，一定要文明，一定要讲理，不能既不讲理，也不文明。
